Enhance your skills, learn about essential features and functions to be able to confidently work within the programmes. Master the essential skills you need to save time and be more productive.

Microsoft Word
The course will help those new to Word learn the basics of Word, play with fonts, word art, images, tables and a few other surprises along the way!

Once you’ve mastered the basics of creating, saving and sharing documents you may want to take your skills to the next level and learn more advanced tasks not covered in this session such as tracking changes; line spacing; automating a table of contents and more. We can deliver a standalone Microsoft Word follow-up course during the Summer Term (subject to demand).

Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Excel is the world’s most popular spreadsheet program. Learn how to create a simple tracking spreadsheet that teaches the basics of Excel. You will learn essential functions and formulas.

We can offer a follow-on advanced course (subject to demand) during the Summer Term which allows you to step up your skills to learn VLOOKUP, creating Pivot Tables, recording simple macros and more.

Microsoft OneNote – Classbooks
A quick look at how OneNote can enhance student learning.

Microsoft PowerPoint
You’re sure to impress your colleagues with the dazzling interactive presentation complete with videos, links, images and animations you learned to create on this course.

Microsoft Publisher
Turn your desktop into a mini publishing house with Microsoft Publisher. Cheaper and easier to use than most publishing tools, this software is ideal for those with business publishing needs. In this course you will learn how to create a standout newsletter with images, page borders, word art and text boxes.

Please bring fully charged laptops with you to the course.
